Well it's official. I have applied for four Disney Professional Internships as of Sunday afternoon. So hopefully, if it's in God's plan for me, I will be selected for an internship in one of the following: Guest Relations, Guest Correspondence, Services for Guests with Disabilities, or Disney Traditions (which is the class that every Cast Member takes before they start their training. It was fabulous). I just scheduled my phone interview for tomorrow at 2:30, so be praying for that!
I know I've said this before, but I love it down here. And I really think I want to stay. I've made wonderful friends, I love where I work, Disney is a great company to work for, Florida is so much warmer (although I could do without the hurricane threats), and I even met someone (That means a boy. Shhh. Don't tell my dad). I'm attending a church I love, even though they're going through a time of searching for a pastor right now, and I'm really comfortable living on my own. It would be a little bit easier with a larger pay check, but I can deal with that. Ramen is nice and cheap.
And as if it needed to be said again, I have one of the best perks of getting into the parks for free. I probably would have spent over $1000 at this point with how often I go. You would think it would get old, but really, it doesn't. I also got to test out the new Little Mermaid section of the Art of Animation Resort (aka where I work) before it opens on Saturday! Free room, free food, and there were Extra Magic Hours at Hollywood Studios for resort guests the night I stayed! It was perfect.
I really hope God wants to keep me here. I'm all for it.

Trying to Make the Adventure Continue
So I'm almost one month into my program, and I can honestly say this is probably the best thing I could have done after graduation. The College Program has already opened up so many opportunities for me, none of which I would have been able to take advantage of if I had done the safe thing and stayed home.
Not only do I get to do fun things like go to the parks all the time (the amount of times I've gone in the past couple of days alone would have cost me at least 2 paychecks) and get discounted tickets for things like Mickey's No-So-Scary Halloween Party (which I am SO excited about. And need costume ideas for. Please help), but I have so many awesome potential career opportunities as well.
As of right now, I am officially planning on applying for a Professional Internship in Guest Relations. I was very hesitant about applying at first, because it would mean not going back home for at least another 6 months. But after talking to other program participants and hearing the story of my favorite leader and most valuable resource, Kayla, I decided I would regret it forever if I didn't at least try. Kayla is going to be my best friend through this and I'm already so thankful for what she has done for me to help. She's going to look over my resume (which needs so much help), set up meet and greets with Guest Relations leaders, and set up mock interviews for me to try to help me work towards this internship. I haven't decided if I'm going to apply to any others, but I probably will just to increase my chances of getting one.
Sorry to everyone at home that was hoping I'd come back right away, but this could be awesome for me and I'm really excited about it! If I don't get the internship then you'll probably see my face again sooner than I would like, but it's all in God's hands, so we'll see what He wants to happen!
And just so this isn't all words, here are some pictures from my trip to Magic Kingdom before work yesterday!
